About
People. Purpose. Progress.
HR software for companies under 100 employees is priced like the vendor expects you to grow past 100 fast — a per-seat meter with a floor that assumes a budget you don't have yet. TalonHR prices flat, by tier, so the bill you sign up for is the bill you pay whether you hire two people this quarter or twenty.
The second bet is on language. Every noun this product uses — "employee," "goal," "manager," "development plan" — is a Term your Admin can rename in Settings, and every screen resolves through that one registry. If your company calls people "team members" or calls goals "OKRs," the product should say that back to you, not force your team to translate its own vocabulary every time they open it.
We built this for two different people who end up doing the same job. One is a founder or ops generalist wearing the HR hat a few times a year — at onboarding, at a hiring burst, at offboarding — who needs plain language and a CSV import they can trust before anything changes. The other is a dedicated HR or People Ops professional who has used BambooHR, Lattice, or Gusto, works in the roster regularly, and wants filters, bulk actions, and keyboard-efficient paths. TalonHR defaults to the generalist's guided path and keeps the power affordances one layer down, rather than removing them.
